Opener LNP Reddy (51) and NaginiKumar (32) added 78 runs for the second wicket off 28.5 overs. Thiswas followed by a third wicket partnership of 57 runs from 19.1 oversbetween Reddy and YV Rao. And finally, Rao and IG Srinivas (13) wereassociated in an unbroken stand of 51 runs for the fifth wicket. Atclose Rao was batting with 86, compiled off 148 balls with 12 hits tothe ropes.Earlier Goa who were 188 for nine at close of play on Wednesday, wereall out for 213. R Naik who top scored with 68 was last out afterdefying the Andhra attack for almost five hours. He faced 217 ballsand sent four of them to the ropes. For Andhra, opening bowlerSahabuddin was the most successful bowler taking five for 72 off 34overs. The other opening bowler Madhukar finished with three for 59.
