Ashwaniwas the first to be dismissed, caught by Ricky off Harbhajan Singh.Ten overs later, Mahajan was bowled, giving Sandeep Sanwal his firstwicket of the innings. Then Vikrant Taggar (13) held the fort for afurther 10 overs in the company of Idris Gaudroo (18).But after Sanwal picked up Taggar and Shashi Kumar (13), it was just amatter of time before the innings folded up. Sanwal then held a returnchance to send back Sanjay Sharma. Idris who had battled for over 73minutes departed, bowled by Sanwal. Harbhajan then returned to pick uphis fifth wicket, that of Abdul Qayoom (7), to signal Punjab’svictory.
