Ben Wright sacrificed his wicket during a mix-up to allow Wakely to continue his innings.Wakely’s memorable day continued with two wickets, but Sri Lanka kept up with the required rate throughout the chase and entering the final ten overs were slight favourites, needing 48 with five wickets in hand. However, England produced some outstanding fielding as the last half of the batting went for 33 runs.England have now won three out of four matches and their next clash is against Malaysia on Monday.
